International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 every year and all over the world. This event is a great combination of Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. The first Women’s Day was celebrated on 28 February 1909 in the USA. Inspired by the American women’s, who were fighting for their rights, the German lady Klara Zetkin organized the first International Women's Day in 1911. On March 19, the same year a socialists from Germany, Austria, Denmark and other European countries held strikes and marches.
